sorry that i was unable to attend the recent committee camp &the recent trainings. i apologise for that. )): yep. i went for interviews ytd &today. &i finally got a job as a nurse cum receptionist at MOUNT ELIZABETH HOSP. wahahaha. tomorrow's my first day of job &i hope that i'll do well. ((:

meanwhile, i hope that you guys will continue to work hard in your trainings. train well!!

P.S: i got this job because i'm from RED CROSS!! &i've attended HNS before. that's a PLUS factor in nursing jobs!!

hihi:) juZ let u ol noe that redcross camp dae had been changed to rc outdoor activities dae ( if im not wrong) we not goin MacRitchie Reserviour liaoZ we are goin to hike at bukit timah hill.... and i think sft we will come back to school for some games mayb?? seniors hu r interested in goin pls bring these along : bottle, Poncho (umbrella mayb abit inconvenient), food (own n can bring for sharing), extra shirt ( to change into aft hike), erm... be in mufti and meet at arnd redcross rm at 8am.. if possible bing a backpack instead of a slingbag ( or wadever u call that :P) cos hiking mah :P thats all... come if u r free :D SMILES :D LURVE .~.~melisa~.~.

REDCROSS RAWKS MY SOCKS
hmm..today for sec 2s n 3s we started wit outdoor activities which was okay lah..budden da practical part came which turned kinda confusin..i need more help! haha=p
Sec 1s started with evac bah..then after tt they had first aid..which was taught by me n peiqi! so excitin..i 1st time teach them=) ended up quite well! erm..then sec 2s n 3s were havin evac..after tt we all had footdrill..which was like..kinda paiseh for sec 2s n 3s..not very "pro" at it..then the BB boys come take over our place n march march..HAOLIAN=p nah, they were good sia...*scared*

n i tink tt was the end of today's session. To all the sec 1s: Though nv teach u all footdrill, heard u all improve lots le? Keep up da gd work, n make REDCROSS proud! 3 cheers for u gals!! Hiphip HorrayyyY!!! (x3)

hihi... long time no come... lol miss u guys sooo much:P aniwae, mayb u guys want to noe sum updates abt our trainins ;P haha... so far, we are still "functioning " quite ok:D the sec1 are improving pretty well, i guess that's becos they getting comfortable with us now... lolX last time dey used to be so scared of us... c us like duno c wat... lolX.. now they oso getting used to jieying liaoZ... so footdrill oso improve liaoZ :) now we teachin them marchin.. so fun!! den that time the camp, the footdrill trainings helped alot... cos bettina, siyan, aqidah, nisaaini and saras came to help... *WOOHOO* u shld hav seen saras man... PRO sia... she was soooooo scary.. lolx no lahZ... she suddenly beri serious... i kena shocked.. cos she beri fierce... den cos the sec1 alwaes no reply, so she keep tellin them to reply.... den all the sec1 listen to her... *applause* go saras!!! haha... reali.. u shld have seen her...... swear u will be surprised.. hehe...

haha... this year lesser ppl liaoZ... den during theory lesson veri little ppl... like that time evacuatin lesson onli 9 ppl... den feel so weird.. cos last time alot of ppl one... haha... muZ think of ways to attract sec1s next year... if got any suggestion, write here horZ..:P

ok, dun mind me for now first....FREAKO! y is it tt twice in a row my com like hangs when i'm bloggin??! at least the second time i only type lil bit, the first one i already FINISHED it n wanted to publish le lor..then. damn! *relax gal* ok then, i'm done freakin out..lol. now, yongwei, my dear senior, would like to noe more abt the camp rite? so i shall summarise it n gif it to the chio bu=)

basically, i tink the camp didnt go as well as the organisers had planned, was quite...not very exciting..mayb cause the sec 1s/2s/3s didnt really get to do much activities together..the sec ones did mostly footdrill lor..n i tink they played games too..sec 2s/3s(does hu dun have standard first aid tingy..) spent the two days jus gng for Standard First Aid. quite sian..but also fun lah..haha

Food..was okay..edible lah..haha..sleepin quarter. BAD BAD BAD. we sway, at nite so hot..so uncomfortable..at least durin CCA leaders camp, i can slp, quite coolin, budden this time, very bad condition..haha..stay up whole nite only slp lil while (wahhh..LOL)
Then we also had firedrill at nite, but i tink it was kinda a disaster, tings didnt turn out too good..hehex. Had nite games which were quite ok lor..i tink the camp was ok lah..hu noes? mayb next time organise Adventure Camp ! then sure very fun de=)

ok lor, tt's abt all..so lil ppl blog sia..eh if u not bloggin cause dunno how to.feel free to ask those hu blogged b4 or somethin k? seniors also can blog! seniors tt leave scoo le also can lah!! seniors' farewell + home visit.

senior's farewell

taken off my blog. lazy to type
again. =x

just came back not long ago
from school. had farewell
party. the juniors really
put in a lot of effort. so
touched.. hEex. thank you to
all my juniors. =D received
quite a lot of things today.
2 certs, some handmade gifts +
cards. jieying,
xiaowei, haiping &
peiqi gave me a bottle
of bottle. how sweet.
lolx. so touched and happy.

my seniors, boonbee &
yvonne came back to
celebrate with us. they are
graduants. =) they gave us a
stalk of daisy each. hEex.
first time got ppl gimme real
flower. lolx. last time they
gave us handmade flowers too.
haha. both my seniors and
juniors very good.

took A LOT of pictures today.
but not with my cam. i dont
have one. i will have to wait
till my juniors or my seniors
email me the pictures then i'll
post it up. =) lolx. had lotsa
fun. reunite with my darling.
haha. i mean sandra. long
time nv chat with her le. then
talk crap with a lot of ppl in
red cross. i miss red
cross. aint gonna forget those
good old times we shared together.

i love the powerpoint slide my
juniors made. so touching. esp with
the song graduation. they made it
in such a way that the song goes
with the text on the slides. so
nice. hAax.

as we go on.. we'll remember all
the good times, we had together...

home visit

taken off my blog too. lazy to type
again. =x

went to red cross home for the
disabled today. =) it was a new
learning experience to mix around
with the residents. =) well, the
residents there are a bit different
from those that we normally see in
old folks home or hospitals. but
nevertheless, i still managed to
interact with them.

there's this patient whom i sort
of attached myself to him. i was
helping him with the lyrics to
some christian songs. cuz there's
a christian association there as
well and they are putting up some
sing-along sessions. being the
typical helpful girl or should i
say the KPO girl, i went over to
help one resident with the lyrics.
at first, i wasnt really pleased
cuz he wasnt paying me any attention.
so when the sing-along session was
called to a halt because of some
bible study, i went over and
talk to weiling. when
uncle david, the pastor started
playing da guitar, the resident
smiled and waved at me. somehow,
i understood his intention. he was
asking me to go and help him with
the words. i felt SOOOooo guilty.
cuz i only think of myself and not
him. -sighs- to think that i'm from
red cross and hospital
nursing service. =x but this trip
to red cross home for the disabled
is really very different from the
normal nursing homes and hospitals
that i went to in the past cuz most
of the patients in red cross home
for the disabled cant really
interact with you and you really have
to be very very patient with them.

oh ya, i also talked to the pastor
and some volunteers from the christian
association. weird right? fancy going
there and interact with them. haha. i
dont know. >.- but we certainly hit
off well. i told them that i'm also
a christian. =P and that i'm from
rivers of life church. =) they
are really very compassionate. if my
mum allows, i want to go back to
renci hospital to visit uncle
goh, uncle fred and
uncle ong. i really miss them a
lot. if my mum allows, i would be more
that willingly to help out at any homes.

wants to be a nurse when she grows up.

there's this volunteer who looks a lot
like my god bro, benjamin lee.
and when he introduced himself, his name
is benjamin too. such a coincidence
eh? except that he's from ngee ann poly,
mass comm. hAax. so funny.

there were also a lot of army guys there.
they were helping to re-paint the home.
the army guys. they are SO pervert. they
keep looking at us as if they have never
seen girls before. yucky yucky.

before i left the home, i took a picture
with the resident whom i spend most of my
time interacting with him. =) will post
up the picture when ms kwok develops
them. heex. wanted to take a picture with
the pastor and the chrisitian
association's volunteer's too. but they
went home already. -sobs-

after the visit, i did not take the
chartered bus back to school. instead, we
(yelyn, melissa, alice, siyan, bettina,
weiling and me), we went to westmall
to have lunch. hAax. had a great time. esp
cuz i'm crapping with da girls and i'm lame.
hAax. stupid eh?

yelyn and melisa went off
first. they got hospital nursing service
(HNS) at red cross campsite.
anyway, i'm proud of them. haha. cuz i'm
from HNS too. =)
